This one starts off with the flight to Okinawa. All of the students are aboard including Kaname and Sousuke. Everyone's excited about going, but things go terribly wrong as soon as they hit some 'turbulance'. What the students and teachers on the plane don't know is that a very bad man has just shot the plane's captain through the head. (that's why the plane tipped) The man turns to the assistant pilot and asks if he should kill him too, but as he's pointing the pistol at the assistant pilot, a Russian man comes out to stop him. He tells him if he liked to murder people that that was his deal and not to make his country have to clean up his messes. So the assistant pilot is not killed but he is told to turn the plane around and head to a place called Kanka. Meanwhile, everyone starts to get nervous as they realize that they are not heading to Okinawa as they had previously thought. Shinji notices that there are Soviet marked F-16s in the area and Sousuke starts to get a little nervous himself. When the plane lands, the bad guy's voice comes over the radio and tells all of the passangers to be on their best hostage behavior considering they are in hostile territory. Sousuke seems to recognize the voice, but, yet again, does nothing about it. At the Tuatha De Danaan, Tessa and Kalinin are discussing how badly they were our smarted by this bad guy. He was using four hundred other hostages to cover the kidnapping of Kaname. They say his work was 'A job well done.' Back at the plane, Sousuke freaks out a little because Kaname is being ordered to make a statement to the mass media using her as the photogenic actress. The teacher doesn't want them to take her away and gets aimed at with the bad guy's gun. Sousuke immediately recognizes him. There is a huge pause of effect before a loud 'BANG' resounds. No it wasn't the gun shooting the teacher, to prevent that Sousuke ingeniously drops his food try on the floor. The bad guy gives him a glare for distracting him and seems to find something familiar in Sousuke. For a few seconds he just stares at Sousuke trying to remember but is interrpted again by that pesky Russian guy. They leave with a frieghtened Kaname. As soon as the teacher faints from her shock at being nearly shot, she faints and Sousuke heads to the cargo hold to get his much needed supplies. Once there, Sousuke grabs a gun, some sort of communications device/phone/thing, and a taser gun. He hears the main cargo bay door opening and hides behind some things that look like trash to me, what do you people think? I don't know. Anyway, a few guys come in and fiddle with something that from what they are describing sounds like a bomb. They soon leave and Sousuke is able to find out that it is a rather big bomb. He escapes the plane and finds a somewhat secluded spot to contact Tessa and Kalinin. Tessa asks what is happening down there and Sousuke tells them about the bomb. Kalinin tells Sousuke that his main priority is to save the remaining passengers before going after Kaname, but will he listen? NO! even though he is given orders not to go get her yet. Finally, Sousuke tells Kalinin that the bad guy is a man named Gauron, who both he and the commander Kalinin know. The crew of the Tuatha De Danaan immediately begin working on a way to get the passangers out safely. As soon as Sousuke cuts off communications, he gets a gun pointed to his head from behind. Meanwhile, with Kaname, she's in some sort of tube, watching what looks like a 3D video. Gauron and some doctor chick are discussing how long it would take for the results of their testing. The doctor tells him that it'll take quite a while for them to get any good results. Gauron flips out, wanting the results sooner than that and threatens to kill the doctor. (is he totally obsessed with killing or what?! Yikes this guy's nuts) Which he never does. They talk for a little longer about the Whispered, whoever they are. And we finally get a small sample of what they are. Back to Sousuke. A fighting scene between him and that annoying Russian guy ensues with Sousuke cooming out as the victor. (What? did you think the main character was going to loose a fight? He rarely does, those exceptions being the fights with Kaname he always seems to get himself into. -_-) Unfortunately, his communication thingy is very badly broken, so he can't use it anymore. He ties the Russian guy up after tasing him and hides him and his broken equipment under neath a sheet. Sousuke dashes off to find Kaname, disobeying orders. After Kalinin and Tessa have a long talk about how Gauron wronged him and Sousuke by attacking the guerilla hide out and killing everyone they knew, the crew of the Tuatha De Denaan are all being given there orders. Kalinin says it has to take no more than five minutes for them to pull this off. One guy says that that's not enough time but is interrupted by the rarely intelligent Kurz. With his lack of seriousness you'd think he would be a really bad soldier, but he isn't. He is able to reason out that five minutes is an eternity to protect something as big as an air liner. Everyone agress and they get to work. Meanwhile, Sousuke finds the place where Kaname is being held and is being plagues with scenes of the first Whispered girl he saved (NOTE: Sousuke does not know what the Whispered are or why his group protects Kaname Chidori, they just do it on orders) and Kaname being turned into something like her. He can't stand the image and as the first shot rings out, he berates himself for even thinking of baraling into the fray and that only a the stupidest of amatuers would do that. Kalinin is telling Tess that Sousuke is a 'pro among pros' and that he always follows orders and not his heart. That is very wrong in this case, as Sousuke runs into the fray after hearing the second shot ring out and imagining Kaname bein shot by Gauron.
