Bugs Bunny is sitting outside his rabbit hole, strumming a tune on his banjo ("What Do They Do on a Rainy Night in Georgia"). Meanwhile, a few feet away is the opera singer, Giovanni Jones, practicing for tonight's concert. Unable to concentrate because of the rabbit's singing, Jones goes to the bunny and breaks his banjo. Later, the rabbit plays a lovely tune using a harp. Jones smashes that also. When the opera baritone interrupts Bugs's tuba solo and ties the rabbit's ears to a tree branch, Bugs allows as how "Of course, you realize this means war!"
