All three will be performaning and only one will be chosen. The show began outside Nashville's BellSouth Acuff Theatre, where we welcome creative consultant, Clint Black, special guests Trace Adkins and Jo Dee Messina, and the three remaining contestants: John Arthur Martinez, Miranda Lambert, and Buddy Jewell. During the performance, all nine former contestants Jamey Garner, Amy Chappell, Anne Louise Blythe, Brandon Silveira, Brandi Gibson, Prentiss Varnon, Tasha Valentine, Kristen Kissling, and Travis Howard walked out and joined them. The first contestant to perform was John Arthur Martinez, singing "Nothin' But The Taillights" with Clint Black. Host Nancy O Dell talked to John Arthur's mother in the audience. His mom said that she never dreamed John Authur would get this far, and she is very proud of him. Buddy Jewell along with Trace Adkins was next and sang Trace's hit "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing." Oermann. Judge Charlie performed his hit, "Right Man For The Job," with Judge Tracy Gershon playing a bright red electric guitar adding harmony vocals and Judge Robert K. Buddy Jewell impersonated Judge Charlie Robinson and gave the laid-back speech, saying, "I'm not from Texas, but I got there as quickly as I could, and if you could, you'd be the right man for the job, too." Miranda Lambert was Judge Tracy Gershon telling Charlie, "You have a great style - it's really not about the vocals with you. You were pitchy at the end of some of your notes." Next, the announcement of the contestant finishing third.
