Wonderful John Acton, TheFirst Aired in 1953 Set in Ludlow Kentucky, it is the story of an Irish family in 1919, John Acton was the county clerk and owned a combination candy and notions store with his living quarters in the back. The stories were narrated by John's grandson Kevin Acton who reminisced about his childhood growing up in small-town America.
