Worst Witch, TheFirst Aired in 1998 The Worst Witch is a famous show both in the United kingdom, Canada and USA. Mildred (Milly) Hubble started Cackle's Academy to start her new life as a witch. On the first day of school she arrived late to school, crashing into the school grounds, not a very good start to the first day of school at all! From day one Miss Hardbroom (Played by Kate Duchene) absolutely hated Mildred and she wasn't the only one, Ethel and Drusilla made her life a living hell too. Luckily she made good friends, Enid, Ruby, Maud and Jadu. Even though her spells turn into a disaster and she can't fly her broomstick, she always saves the day! Characters Mildred - Main character - Mildred doesn't came from a witch family like the other girls, but earns a scholarship to Cackle's Academy by writing a creative essay. She is a terrible witch, but a good friend to Enid, Maud, ruby and Jadu. Ethel Hallow & Drusilla - Mildred's Nemesis's - Together, they make Mildred's life quite unpleasant through lying, trickery and sabotage. Maud - Mildred's friend - Maud Moonshine befriends Mildred on the first day of term, by rescuing her from the dustbins, and they quickly become best friends. Enid - Mildred's friend - Enid transfers to Cackle's after the half-term break. The shy and reserved new girl turns out to be quite a handful, when she decides to teach the snotty Ethel a lesson she won't soon forget. Jadu - Mildred's friend - Jadu is a great sport and is quick to catch onto things that aren't always apparent. Ruby - Mildred's friend - Ruby Cherrytree has a particular liking for gadgets. On the first day of term, Miss Hardbroom, who hates technology of any kind, catches her with a Walkman and confiscates it. Onward Ever Striving Onward Proudly On our Brooms we fly...
