Xyber 9: New DawnFirst Aired in 1999 The futuristic realm of Terrana, now lies in ruins. Its great past lost in a present of perpetual war. When Jack, a precocious young orphan, reactivates the last of the thinking machines, Xyber 9, he becomes the Chosen One and takes on the task of destroying Machestro, the evil ruler of the underworld. With Xyber 9's power, Jack is able to journey through Machestro's underworld and to other futuristic lands, fighting intergalactic evil. Machestro tries desperately to steal Xyber 9, for without the powerful computer, Jack would be defenseless. And with it, Machestro could become king and spread his disease of evil throughout Terrana and beyond. Xyber 9: New Dawn was a Bokabi production for Saban and Fox Kids. It is not currently airing anywhere, having been canceled before it could finish its continuing storyline. CHARACTER INFO Jack- A fifth-teen year old homeless orphan, Jack stumbled onto Xyber 9 purely by accident. Xyber 9 gives him incredible power. Without it, he would be defenseless against Machestro's onslaught of evil. The people of Terrana, a world which has been ravaged by the blight of war, refer to him as Chosen One, their savior. Jack is always willing to help others. He is a natural born leader who will never give up on anything he sets his mind to. Xyber 9- The last of the thinking machines and the last Xyber, Xyber 9 is Jack's greatest weapon against the forces of evil. Xyber 9 allows Jack and his friends to travel to the underworld and other futuristic lands. Xyber 9 is extremely powerful, and useful. Machestro will go to any lengths necessary to get his evil hands on it because with its power, he would become an invincible king and spread his evil throughout Terrana and beyond. Machestro- The evil ruler of the underworld, Machestro will go to any lengths necessary to steal Xyber 9 from Jack. Half machine himself, he has the ability to control any other machine except Xyber 9, which makes it extremely valuable to him. Machestro knows that Xyber 9's power could make him king. It would also allow him to spread his disease of evil throughout Terrana, a world which he has almost been completely destroyed already. King Renard- Although his followers view him a great leader who cares dearly for them, King Renard is in actuality a very evil man. He has sided with the Machestro on several occasions and like Machestro, he is determined to get Xyber 9 away from Jack. In fact, he is the one who originally uncovered Xyber 9, but couldn't activate it because he was not the Chosen One. When he recovers it, he plans on using Xyber 9 to take over other worlds.
