Blue Collar TV

First Aired in 2004

Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy starred in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, one of the most successful comedy tours of all time, grossing more than $15 million nationwide. It inspired Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie, which was the highest-rated movie ever to air on Comedy Central, and has sold more than one million DVDs to date. This fall, Jeff, Bill and Larry, along with an ensemble cast including Brooke Dillman, Ashley Drane, Ayda Field, Heath Hyche, Peter Oldring and Gary Anthony Williams and recurring guest star Ron White return for a second season on The WB.

Each episode of Blue Collar TV will begin with a themed stand-up routine from Foxworthy, poking good-natured fun at all the things middle America holds dear. With subjects ranging from everyday family life to lingerie shopping, each episode will skewer modern life through sketches and pop culture parodies with a decidedly blue collar perspective. New this season is Larry's Commentary, in which Larry the Cable Guy offers his views on current issues and events happening around the world.

The comics will work with executive producers Fax Bahr and Adam Small, who created Mad TV and cut their teeth on In Living Color. This comedy show may best be described as In Living Blue Collar. Blue Collar TV fills the void of primetime sketch comedy on network television with inspired sketches such as the seething Totes TV interview with Travis Tritt by Gamma Gamma Hey sorority sister Bill Engvall, NASCAR announcer giving a play by play description of Deana Carter giving birth and the trailer park soap opera, the White Trash Days of our Lives.

All three stars bring with them an extremely large built-in audience. Foxworthy has sold more comedy CDs than anyone in history, while Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall have both released CDs that have ranked #1 on the Billboard comedy charts.

From Bahr/Small Productions and Parallel Entertainment in association with Riverside Productions, Inc., distributed by Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Fax Bahr (Mad TV, In Living Color, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment), Adam Small (Mad TV, In Living Color, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment), Jeff Foxworthy and J.P. Williams.
