Bognor

First Aired in 1981

Based on the series of satirical novels by Tim Heald, Bognor was a special investigator with the Department of Trade. Initially afforded a twice-weekly primetime slot, Bognor failed to capture the ratings and was relegated to a graveyard slot after six weeks and was not renewed.

A short three-part sequel, Just Desserts, in which Bognor investigated the cut-throat world of the restaurateur, ran in 1982.
