Conrad Bloom

First Aired in 1998

"Conrad Bloom (Mark Feuerstein) is a giver. He gives advice, he gives his time, he gives until it hurts. Hurts his social life, that is. He's got a hot-shot job on Madison Avenue working with a motherly art director, Shelly, who often feeds her baby while going over presentations. Their dry-witted boss, Faye (Paula Newsome), has a cynical view of everything.

Then there's George (Steve Landesberg), a brilliant, burnt-out icon of advertising that Conrad is trying to remotivate. Conrad's best friend, Molly (Lauren Graham), is often on hand to share dating horrors. Nina (Ever Carradine), Conrad's acerbic sister, is constantly stealing his "moments" with her life's shocking details. And then there's mom, Florie (Linda Lavin), who still consults Conrad's dead father on all her life decisions." (NBC promo)

Due to decidion of NBC, the show lasted only for 9 episodes.
