Digimon: Digital Monsters

First Aired in 1999

In season four, it's the year 2002 and the Digital World is in danger. The dark Cherubimon is revived and the King Of Darkness has begun his revolt against the Digiworld, which is currently reigned by three Great Angel Digimon, who must defend their world without the legendary Ten Warriors. Although the warriors no longer exist, their spirits do, giving power to 5 Digi-Destined kids of the real world in the fight against the King Of Darkness. The kids cannot go back to the real world until they restore all the destroyed land of the Digital World using their new Digivices, the D-Tectors. Cherubimon fears the Digi-Destined, who now have the powers of the spirits. It's the fight of good versus evil. Will evil prevail?

Many ages ago when the digital world was still young. Beast-type digimon and Human-type digimon fought each other and brought chaos upon the land. That is until a powerful digimon called Lucemon came and brought peace to all digimon. Such joyiceness was short lived however. Lucemon became a tyrant and cruely ruled the digital world. Then, 10 Legendary Ancient Warrior Digimon arose and defeated Lucemon and brought peace to the Digital World.

After the Legendary Warrior Digimon had died in battle with Lucemon, three powerful Celestial Digimon took control of the Digital World and continue the peace, they were called Seraphimon, Ophanimon, and Cherubimon. Then, Cherubimon revolted and sent the Digital World into Chaos once again. Now, five kids have been summoned to the digital world to save it from this new evil.

These kids don't have any Digimon of their own, but can use the spirits of the Legendary Warrior Digimon to Digivolve themselves into those ancient Digimon.

Season 4/Frontier Characters:

Takuya Kanbara:
Takuya is season 4's leader. Like most Digi leaders, he's a goggle-wearing, adventure loving, soccer playing guy who dosen't always think before he acts, which can get him into a lot of hot water. Takuya can Spirit Evolve into Agunimon and Beast Spirit Evolve into BurningGreymon. Takuya can also Fusion Evolve into Aldamon. Takuya can also Unity Evolve into EmperorGreymon. And he can evolve alongside Koji (Tommy, JP, and Zoe in the last episode) into Susanoomon.

Koji Minamoto:
Remember Season One's Matt? Remember how rebellious and how much of a loner he was? Well, Koji is like that, except with a grudge 10 times bigger than Matt's. But he's not all bad. He thinks everything out carefully and never rushes into a fight without a plan. Koji can Spirit Evolve into Lobomon and Beast Spirit Evolve into KendoGarurumon. Koji can Fusion Evolve into Beowulfmon. Koji can Unity Evolve into MagnaGarurumon. And Koji can Ancient Spirit Evolve (Takuya, Tommy, Koji, and JP in the last episode) into Susanoomon.

Zoe Orimoto:
Zoe is a lonely girl that wishes to have friends. She might seem all tough on the outside, but she wants people who accept her for who she is. She finds those people in the DigiWorld (duh). Zoe can Spirit Evolve into Kazemon and Beast Spirit Evolve into Zephyrmon. In the last episode, alongside, TAKUYA, KOJI, TOMMY, and JP, she was able to Ancient Spirit Evolve into Susanoomon.

Tommy Himi:
Remember Season One's T.K.'s 'crying' problem? Well, it would seem that Tommy has that same problem. Tommy likes to help people and all, but at heart he is a crybaby. But he'll still help his friends out when they are in a sticky mess. Tommy can Spirit Evolve into Kumamon and Beast Spirit Evolve into Korikakumon. In the last episode, alongside, TAKUYA, KOJI, ZOE, and JP, he was able to Ancient Spirit Evolve into Susanoomon.

J.P. Shibayama:
Being the oldest of the bunch, you'd think he'd be the wisest, but you'd be wrong. While he means well, sometimes J.P. goes with his stomach, instead of his head. He seems to have a crush of Zoe, but it's not the romantic/love couple of the season. He can Spirit Evolve into Beetlemon and Beast Spirit Evolve into MetalKabuterimon. In the last episode, alongside, TAKUYA, KOJI, TOMMY, and ZOE he was able to Ancient Spirit Evolve into Susanoomon.

Kouichi Kimura
Kouichi is the twin brother of Koji. On his way to the Digital World, he was overcame by darkness, and got the Spirits of Duskmon, and Volgemon, and tried to destroy the Frontier Digidestined. In the episode Ne'er The Twins Shall Meet, Duskmon/Valgemon gets released from his body, and it changes to Lowemon/JagerLowemon and he gets a D-Tector, and becomes a Frontier Digidestined. And in the episode The Tag Team Express, he finds out that he was just a "spirit" in the Digital World. Kouchi's Fractal Code was scanned by Lucemon Caos Mode. Before he leaves he gave his spirits of Darkness to Koji. Kouichi can spirit into Lowemon/Duskmon and Beast Spirit Evolve into Jagerlowemon/Valgemon.
