Family Double DareFirst Aired in 1988 One of the greatest game shows in History Family Double Dare began in 1989 and lasted until 1993 with a tournament of champions the show was hosted by Marc Summers (Super Sloppy Double Dare, Double Dare, and What Would You Do?) Two families would compete against each other in a series of questions and physical challenges each question was worth $25 if the team didn't know the answer or thought the other team didn't have a clue they could dare them to answer it for double the dollars but they had to be careful because they could double dare the team back for 4 times the amount and at the point their choice was to answer the question or take the physical challenge Round 1 ($25, $50 on a dare $100 on double dare and physical challenges) Round 2 ($50, $100 on a dare $200 on a double dare or physical challenge) a physical challenge was performed to see who had control of rounds 1 and 2 after 2 rounds the team with the highest total won the game and went on to the Double Dare Obstacle Course to win 8 exciting prices (while Harvey was the announcer on the show the grand prize was a new car) (when Doc Holiday took over the grand prize was a trip) the show will never be forgotten and Marc Summers is one of the most popular kids host in the history of TV If you see any mistakes on this page or if you have more infomation about this show, please submit a comment |
