Gary and Mike is about two friends who go on a cross-country road trip. Mike Bonner is a fun-loving guy who just got caught with an engaged girl... by HER dad. Gary Newton is a nerd who wants to follow the Louis and Clark trail like all his relatives before him and become a man in his and his father's eyes.
