GladiatorsFirst Aired in 1992 Gladiators in UK ran from 1992 to 1999 and featured some of the UK's Best atheletes in competiton. Members of the public competed in heats against 'Gladiators' for enough points to push them through to the finals where they had the chance of winning up to £10,000. However the Gladiators were always accused of using drugs by the press and this was further compounded by the sacking of Shadow as a Glad due to drug offences. The final nail in the coffin came some time later when Warrior was also found guilty of drug offences. Due to this Gladiators was cancelled just after the conclusion of the 1999 season.
