AnimorphsFirst Aired in 1998 We can't tell you who we are. Or where we live. It's too risky, and we've got to be careful. Really careful. So we don't trust anyone. Because if they find us ... well, we just won't let them find us. The things you should know is that everyone is in really big trouble. Yeah. Even You. Animorphs was originally based on the book series created by K.A. Applegate. Most of the episodes that have appeared are based on one of the books, but some are totally created by one of the Television crew. In this battle against parasitic aliens, called Yeerks, five children, Jake played by Shawn Ashmore, Rachel played by Brooke Nevin, Marco played by Boris Cabrera, and Tobias who is played by Christopher Ralph; was given the power to morph into any creature by an Andalite named Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul (Diego Matamoros) to fight Visser Three (Eugene Lipinski) and his fellow Yeerks. An Andalite who is named Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill (Paulo Costanzo), the brother of Elfangor joins the battle along the Animorphs. It has been over five years since the Animorphs joined up, and given the power to morph into creatures, to fight the evil Yeerks. It was an amazing battle; the Animorphs had some good times, and some bad times, but they were always together, trying to save the world. It was June 1996, when the first Animorphs book was released by K.A. (Katherine) Applegate, and now, the last book written was in 2001. The count of 54 regular Animorph books, 4 Megamorphs, 4 Chronicles, and 2 Alternamorphs, and including 26 episodes of the Animorphs TV Series, and an incredible supply of merchandise (transformers, games, etc...). Now, that huge battle between good and evil, the human race fighting along side with the Andalites, and many other species, battling against the parasitic aliens, Yeerks, has ended. When I read that first Animorphs book, in June 1996, it was so exciting I could not put it down. I continued to order the books, and the excitement continues to climb and climb. Now, it's all over, and K.A. Applegate ends the series with the Animorphs beginning a new fight... Characters Jake Jake is strong, takes responsibility, and takes charge, which gives him the role of being the leader of the Animorphs. Using these personalities and abilities, he wants to be a Navy Pilot in his future career. He loves to hang around with Marco and play video games and playing basketball with his brother. He likes Cassie, and has a brother named Tom, he has been under the control of the Yeerks for a while. He lives with his father (a paediatrician), and his mother (a freelance writer). Jake's reason to become an Animorph is to hold the group together and lead them through the war. Jake's specialty morph in the television series is the White Tiger. Rachel Cousin of Jake and has parents that are divorced. He has a crush on Tobias and her best friend is Cassie. She lives with her mother, who is a lawyer, and her two younger sisters. Her father is currently a television news weatherman. Rachel is smart, strong-willed, adventurous, and courageous which makes her an attacker. She joined the gymnastics team at school and loves to go shopping. Rachel's reason of becoming an Animorph is to defend Earth against the Yeerks, no matter the cost. Her specialty morph in the television series is the Lion. Tobias Before he received his morphing powers, he just moved and he was shy, quiet, and had no parents. He liked to play video games, read, and daydream. He lived under the roof of multiple aunts and uncles. He stays in a Red-Tail Hawk morph for over two hours, making him stuck in that morph forever. Once he became a bird, he became very close friends to Ax and Rachel. He soon discovers that his father is actually an Andalite - Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul and that a small disc can make him morph once again. "A thoughtful human mind trapped in the body of a red-tailed hawk, but also a bird of prey". Tobias' reason of becoming an Animorph is to find out where he comes from. Cassie Cassie loves animals because her mother and father are both veterinarians who run a clinic and a farm full of animals. She was very excited when she was able to morph into all the animals that were available in the barn. She is perceptive, caring, loyal, and empathetic. She really likes Jake, and her best friend is Rachel. She is the best morpher in the group, due to the fact that she can morph with extreme ease. She wants to one day become a zoo vet, but at the moment, her favorite class at school is Science. Cassie's reason is to protect the various outer-space species from extinction. Cassie's specialty morph is the Horse. Marco The boy who loves jokes and is always fooling around, but all that almost changed when he realized that he has to go up against aliens and risk his life, which may mean that his father will live alone, since his mother has passed away. But when he passed that stage, he starts joking around again, having some fun. A cute, charming, witty, smart joker, his best friend is Jake. His father is an engineer and night maintenance and needs Marco's company to keep himself from become depressed. He soon realizes that his mother is under the control of a Yeerk... Visser One, and that saving his mother is Marco's reason. His specialty morph is the Wolf. Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill The only Andalite prince that is surviving on the planet Earth (other than Andron, who is controlled by Visser Three) and helps the Animorphs to avenge the death of his brother, Elfangor. Ax is scientific, focused, and extremely loyal to Jake. He is sometimes arrogant and loves to eat the food available on earth (especially cinnamon buns) in his human form. He likes to watch the commercials of the television box and tries to learn as much as he can about the Earth and all of the creatures on it. He is very important in the knowledge of different alien races. Ax's reason of coming to Earth and joining the group is to one day become a great Andalite warrior.
