Joe Bash

First Aired in 1986

Peter Boyle plays the balding, crusty father-in-law on Everybody Loves Raymond. In the 80's however, he was the lead character in the short lived dramedy Joe Bash, which was about a balding, crusty, and lonely beat cop. Joe Bash was created by Danny Arnold, who was earlier a writer for that other cop sitcom, Barney Miller.
