Michael HayesFirst Aired in 1997 After leaving "NYPD Blue", David Caruso returns to TV in the title roll as Michael Hayes. Hayes is a gritty ex-New York cop-turned-federal prosecutor who uses his street smarts to convict criminals as Acting U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York.
