Nathan's ChoiceFirst Aired in 2001 Nathan's Choice chronicles the misadventures of twentysomething Nathan, fresh out of university and woefully unprepared for the real world. As he faces his weekly dilemma, viewers sitting by their PCs or phones can vote for one of two predetermined options halfway through each episode. The second half of the show-already on film-will reflect the winning vote. "The dilemma will be really innocuous, but either choice will lead to breathtakingly insane consequences," says Lorre, noting that Nathan could die one week and return the next.
