Adam-12 (1989)First Aired in 1990 A not-so-great remake of the original series where nothing much changed except for the faces and the police cars. Gus and Matt were the uniformed L.A.P.D. cops on patrol in a squad car named "Adam 12". The series combined a mixture of serious crimes and trivial or amusing incidents on the streets of L.A. and also a running byplay between married Gus and single Matt about their off-duty lives. Sgt. Santos was the watch commander. This series only aired in New York and Los Angeles at the time of production, going into national syndication at the end of 1990.
