Phantom Quest CorpsFirst Aired in 2006 "In the sixth year of the Heisei period, according to the National Tax Administration, more than two million companies are listed in Japan. They are catagorized as limited and Unlimited Partnerships- Joint-Stock Corporations, and Limited Companies. However, there is only one business that does not belong to any type of company catagory. The company is rumored to be a ghost company, a phantom company, and a mysterious company... This company is owned by Ayaka Kisuragi, whose job is to exterminate evil spirits and various kinds of monsters. Many may consider this a most unusual business... This company is called the Phantom Quest Corporation (You-Gen-Kai-Sya)." That is how each episode starts. The show is about Ayaka, her right-hand guy Mamoru, Lt. Karino of U Division, and a slightly rotating roster of supernatural help. The three we see are Madame Suimei, Rokkan, and Nanami. Suimei is a typical-seeming fortune teller, Rokkan is a priest, and Nanami is a high school student and new to her pyrokinetic powers. The team face otherworldly dangers that endanger Tokyo and the the world, but there's humor too!
