Pro FanFirst Aired in 1977 Charlie Jones (then NBC Sportscaster) hosted this game show that had an athletic set (bowling alley, basketball, golf green, pool table, etc). Two teams consisting of a sports star & male contestant competed in this contest. Three 4:00 periods were played. Charlie asked sports trivia questions & the contestant who answered correctly earned points. Then the sports star gets to do a sports task (sink a putt, bowl a strike, shoot a basket, etc.) for extra points, but had only 24 seconds to accomplish that feat. Round 1 awarded 5 points for questions/10 points for tasks. Round 2; 10/20. Round 3; 20/40 (also, the contestant can do the sports task himself for 80 points. Only once per team.) The team with the most points won the game & got to play the bonus. $15,000 GRAND SLAM: If either the contestant or sports star does the special sport task, the contestant won $15,000 in prizes.
