Ready, Fire, AimFirst Aired in 2005 Dick Wolf ("Law & Order") has reportedly landed a last-minute pilot order for a new comedy at the Eye about two strangers who impulsively decide to marry. Les Firestein ("Wanda at Large") is behind the project, which is set up at Wolf's NBC Universal Television-based Wolf Films. The pilot's delay is understood to be tied to tensions between NBC Universal and CBS over demands by the Eye to make "Ready" a co-production with Paramount Network Television.
