Report to MurphyFirst Aired in 1982 On April 5th, 1982 CBS aired the pilot episode of Report to Murphy. The show starred Michael Keaton, Olivia Cole, Ken Foree, Donna Ponterotto, Donnelley Rhodes, and Margot Rose. The show was about the everyday problems and frustrations of a parol officer, as he deals with the released prisoners that come and go. Unfortunately, the series was canceled due to low ratings after just six episodes. Out of all of the actors that were on the show, only one of them ever made it really "big" in Hollywood. Michael Keaton would go on to gain success in Hollywood. While the other actors continued to act, none of them ever became famous.
