Restless Gun, The

First Aired in 1957

Movie star John Payne played Vint Bonner, a retired gunfighter who wanders the west. Payne gave a fine, easygoing, humorous performance as Vint Bonner. John Payne made a very appealing western hero, and "The Restless Gun" was in the Nielsen top ten during its run. The producer of "The Restless Gun" was David Dortort, whose next show would be "Bonanza". Guest stars included future super stars Dan Blocker, Michael Landon, Vic Morrow, and Chuck Connors.
