Saturday Show, TheFirst Aired in 2001 The Saturday Show aired originally with Dani Behr and Joe Mace presenting 9am-12pm Saturday mornings with the occasional spoof from Tiny and Mr Duck. When the CBBC channel launched , an extra hour of mayhem called The Saturday Show Extra began with Sarra Elgan . The show was recommissioned for a second series the presenters changed though with Simon Grant and Fearne Cotton taking charge the pair hosted Top of the Pops Saturday what took over from 11.15am-12.00pm (Fearne still presents now)and Tiny and Mr Duck were given their own slot called The Tiny and Mr Duck Show aired around 10:50. But the annual move to Glasgow saw the end of Tiny and Mr Duck but the return of TSS Karaoke. The Saturday Show Extra still continued with Sarra Elgan , Fearne Cotton and Simon Grant presenting. It was this series when all of the spin-offs came. The Saturday Show Extra was moved to after the show because incidently, The Saturday Show Extra gave you Extra from TSS! And on a Sunday around 12, on the CBBC Channel came The Saturday Show Remix . The Saturday Show Remix was the best bits from the show the day before. Then the shows biggest change happened in the Spring of 2004, the show now Aired on BBC 2 not BBC 1 (due to the olympics) like before and would air from 8.30am till 10.00am were The Mysti Show and Top of the Pops Saturday followed afterwards. The Show lost Fearne Cotton and their was no job left for Sarra Elgan on The Saturday Show Extra because the slot had been taken by Kerching.The Saturday Show Remix had been cancelled so Simon and Sarra were left. Originally, they were going to front the new look BBC1 show but she didn't like the idea of not doing TSS Extra. CBBC presenters Angellica Bell and Jake Humphrey were recruited and became the new faces of The Saturday Show. The 2004 version of The Saturday Show didn't see as much exitement. The studio wasn't a traditional saturday morning one and only the female could present. Angellica, Jake and Simon are the presenters for series 4 what begins on the 26th March 2005 with a new look (again!) from 9am till 10:30am. Lets hope the presenters can present (they have improved over the past year and are good on the advert)so lets hope its a better series and hopefully it will soon be returning to 3 hours long. The show has a brand new look and feel and the classic logo has been replaced. So don't miss is it. Saturday Morning, BBC1 9am-10:30am followed by The Dance Factory at 10:30am and Top of the Pops Saturday at 11am.
